Some days ago we got news from Carl Martin, they were announcing a new effect pedal, but again just like other times the official site is not updated yet, I’d like to see some info of its newest products. But let’s get into it, the new product is the Carl Martin DC Drive Effect Pedal is a drive pedal that belongs to the vintage series that looks like a regular drive pedal, but it’s not, just see its features.

The Carl Martin DC Drive Effect Pedal is an effect that can be used for nearly any task considering of its flexibility for create

tones for rhythm or lead guitar parts. It features chicken-head boost, level, tone and drive controls, on/off and boost footswitches and blue LEDs and regular/fat (chunky and old-school or contemporary warm tones) switch; the boost control and footswitch controls and activates the clean boost section after the drive to give it a special character.

The stompbox is powered by a 9V battery but it’s highly recommended a potential adapter for heavy use. The price and availability of the Carl Martin DC Drive Effect Pedal have not been announced yet but stay tuned for more info.
